Editor' s N ote: When J ane Leslie receiorcd the f ollowing letter , it was a time of great
celebration for the president and the edinr. It was also a time of reflection for me as
I remembered Bernyce Mahey well from her years in Texas and I also remember
John, who appreciated art and things beautiful and often purchased deluxe buttons
for his mother. Now, with this wonderful gesture, all members can enjoy the color
pages in the future as a lit.,ing memorial to Bernyce Mahey from her son , J ohn.
                                                                  -MV/S
