         Mrs. Edwin  (Alice)  Tarbox,  of Arlington,  Massachusetts,  passed away Sunday,
     May 19, 1968, after suffering a heart attack. She had been hospitalized  only a few
     days.
        Mrs. Tarbox  was arr early member of the Nationa,l Button  Society, and in the
     years  1945 and 1946 served  as Junior Chairman,  succeeding  tr/trs. L. L.  parrish.   She
     was well known in Doll and Button CIub circles as a writer  and lecturer. Alice
     Tarbox  could have left no more fltting ',footprint on the sands of time', than The
     MeSlc  Land of Greenaway,  just  recently  published.
        Sincere  sympathy is extended to her husband,  Mr. Edwin Tarbox, and her
     family.
