Our President, Jane Leslie, was delightfully surprised and overwhelmed
by the Christmas gift of these enamel portraits from her husband. They
are French. They are fine-and they are identified. The provenance is
known. They are described on page 95B of the
Complete Button Book (from the collection of
Nellie Van Buskirk) and on page 19 of Button
Classics. (Nothing says lovin' like something
