"The Heavens in Ninety-Seven" is the theme for the
California State Button Society's Annual State Show and
Competition. This astronomical event will take place at the
Holiday Inn in Visalia and looks to be one you shouldn't

May 23-24 TEXAS
The Texas State Button Society Spring Show will be held at
the Quality Inn South in Austin. Hosted by the Tri-County
Button Club. The theme will be "Sports and Pastimes".

May 29-31 IDAHO
The Idaho State Buffon Society State Show will be hosted b
the Bluebird Button Club in Pocatello at the Philbin Estates
Recreation Hall. The theme is "Bloom Where You Are Plant-
ed". The public is invited to attend 1:00-4:00 p.m. Friday,

June 6-8 NORTHEAST REGIONAL BUTTON ASSOCIATION
The 13th Annual Northeast Regional Button Association
meeting will be held at the Hilton Hotel (formerly Radisson),
1285 Strongtown Rd., Southbury, CT (located 1/2 mile off I-
84, Exit l6) Show hours are Friday l0-5:30 with an auction at
7:30 p.m.; Saturday 9-6; Sunday 10-noon. For further
