      insignia.  it \\ras Northwest  airlines  that usecl these
      buttons. The f-irst ainnail pilots and planes  \\rere
      borror,ved from the Anny. The postal pilots and
      planes  \\'ere used until 1927.,  r,vhen all ain-nail  r,l,,as  carried  under contract. It
      appears that there  w,as no uniform  fbr postal pilots in those 9 years that the Post
      OfTice Department  was in the arirmail  business.
