After a full year of research and looking at hundreds of buttons, only seven
additional plant famiues have been identified by flowers or. fruiLs and can be add-
ed to the list of thirty-one published on pages 251-256 of the November, 1964
National Button Bulletin. In the order given in Gray's Manual of Botany, 8th
edition, and inseried in the correct place in the total list these familites and one
example of each (two flg examples), are as follows:
(1) Amaryllis Family (Amaryllidaceae). Example: Narcissus (metal). Place in Iist:
Betu'een Lily and Iris
(2) Mulberry Family (Moraceae). Example: Fig (a-black glass; b-composition).
Place in list: Between Beech and Hemp
(3) Mistletoe Fami]y (Loranthaceae). Example: Mistletoe (metal). Place in list:
Between Hemp and Pink
(4) Mustaxd Parnily (Cruciferae). Example: Mustard (metal). Place in list: Be-
tween Poppy and Rose
{5) Rue Family (Rutaceae). Exa,mple: Orange (metal). Place in list: Betrveen Pea
and HoUy
(6) Parsley Family (Umbelliferae). Example: Pal's]ey (black glass). Place in lisl:
Between Ginseng and Primrose
(?) Primrose Family (Primulaceae). Example: Cyclamen (metal). Place in list:
Between Ginseng and Convolvulus.

Of the t\ro flg buttons illustrated, Example "a" is my preference. On this black
glass button the flg $asp is on upper left part of the flg. I was delighted to fiud
this particular bution as the flg wasp is necessary to the fertilization process of
the flg. Use a magnifying glass to truly appreciate the button.
