an account of the interesting experiences of two relatively new button collectors,

acoompanied with an illustration, strowing the two ladies inspecthg a Civil w'ar
uniform, checking ttre buttons which bea^r the New Jersey State sea.l. I-a.ter, one of
ttre buttons was snipped ofi and rvrrs. Hill had tl.e exciting privilege of presenting
ttre historic button to Princecs Christina of Sweden.
The occasion was the necent visit of ttre princ€ss to Trcnton, wherc she was
honored at a dinn€f, attended by more than 300 guests. Ttre visit symbolizes ttre
history which binds Sweden so closely to the New Jersy-pennsylvahia-Wilming-
ton area. lt[rs. Hill recalls that the kincess responded qrith ,.Oh tlrank you very
much, it's very lovely." Subsequently she receiived a t):ank-you note written by a
lady in waiting.
