A motion was made by Mrs. James Leahy that aU of the reports as submitted
to tlre Annual Meeting be approved, subject only to the Auditor's approval on the
Treasurer's report. T'lxe motion was seconded by Mrs. Edward J. Morehous, and
csrried.
Ttre names of National BuUton Society merrrbers who had died since ttrc
previous annual meeting were read as those present rose and remained standing
for a moment of silence.
I'he Nominating Committee, l\[rs. Prudence B. Crawford, Chairman, pre-
sented the following slate:

At the request of the President, Mr. George Ertell, a Past President, was asked
to take the Chair during the election, Mr. Ertell called for nominations from the
floor. Ttrere being none, nominations were dmlared closed. A motion was made
by ilfr. A. If. Albert, seconded by l\(rs. Earl F. Quincy that the slate as presented
by the Nominating Committee be the elected ofiicers. Upon unanimous vote,
the slate was declared duly elected.
Mrs. Toalson accepted her re-election and expressed appreciation for the
contlnued confldence.
iltrs. Toalson announced that the Maine State Button Society had presented
the National Button Society $60.00 to help defray expenses of this meeting.
Invitations were extended by the Missouri State Button Soclety to attend the
1966 meeting in Kansas City, Mo.; and the Pennsylvania State Button Society to
hold the 196? or 1968 meeting in the Philadelphia or gireater Philadelphia area.
Ivtrs. Toalson thanked all the New England members, and those outside of
New England, who had done so much to make the 1965 meeting such a success.
On motion by Mr. T'homas W, Owens, Jr., and seconded, a rising vote of
thenks was extended to Mrs. Toalson for carrying on.
There being no further business to come before the meeting, the President
declared the meeting adjournd at 10:30 A.M.
